MUSIC VIDEO CONCEPT

Several locations for this, fast upbeat song. The main ones will be around Northolt and Central London mainly the Thames. Simply a day out with friends

COMMENTS I RECEIVED ABOUT CONCEPT

1)      The concept is terrific but you have to make sure that you get the gritty feel of the song and the locations.

2)      This definitely would appeal to teenagers but you have to make sure that there are fast cuts and not too long shots.

3)      Need to make sure point of view shots do not look like a handheld shot likewise for handheld.

4)      Time lapses should be used for scenes in London for example a time lapse of the Thames.

5)      Have a split screen for the text message shots to show there is a conversation maybe

 

WHAT I AM GOING TO CHANGE:

Ø To portray the raw urban atmosphere I will add a warm darkish effect in post-production

Ø I was planning to have fast cuts for few situations to show different aspects for example, an over the shoulder, long shot and a close up of feet for a scene of friends walking down the street is simple but will be effective

Ø Point of view shots will be very solid and still but handhelds will be more shaky and authentic to point out the differences

Ø The time lapse idea is a very good one I will make sure that the timing and framing of the camera is right.

Ø I might use a split screen for a phone call instead because a text might look unprofessional as they might not work at the same time
